The Creators of Footsteps Dance Studio

Nicole Simmons and Michele Vogelsang

Michele and Nicole are the owners, directors and instructors of Footsteps Dance Studio.  They are sisters of 7 years apart.  They each started dancing at age 3 and haven’t stopped since.  When each of them turned 7 their shared dream was to have their own dance studio.  In June of 2000, their dream came ALIVE!  They oversee all aspects of the studio.  They believe in a hands on, organized, professional, and family-oriented operation.  They instruct all ages from the 2.5 year olds to the adults.  They oversee every class and are the directors of the competition companies.  They have studied and continue to study with choreographers, directors, dancers, and performers from New York, L.A., Chicago, Las Vegas, and Minneapolis.  They provide diverse and up to date choreography, styles that are theatrical, classic and showy, classical and contemporary ballet, classical and trendy jazz, hip-hop from the east and west coasts.
